creative practice

Based in North Herefordshire, my practice explores relationships within the natural world; the interconnection between living beings (including humans) and the landscapes they inhabit, whether briefly or in a more permanent way.

Words offer a way of representing these relationships and my experience of them, while visual elements help to anchor the words in a specific place and time. It is about capturing something of a moment, of what is/was embodied. Preserving a memory that can be returned to, reflected upon and learnt from. A way to further question my own perceptions of the world and how I choose to interact with it.

If this aligns in anyway with your own practice, I would be grateful of the opportunity to connect with you; a simple hello, an exchange of stories, a walk together, the sharing of a work space, or a collaboration of some kind. I am open.

Whether you are drawn to visuals, words, music, physical objects…

I am here for it.
